How to select the perfect European wedding photographer
Brides-to-be, a word of caution. Just because Uncle Joe or Aunt Sally has a nifty digital camera, that doesn’t mean you should hand over the intricate job of taking photos on the most important day of your life. We all need to understand the fact that wedding photography is an art like no other – it’s physically demanding, a stressful task, and there’s usually only one chance to capture that all-important moment. That’s why it’s a good idea to take your time and hire a professional Europe wedding photographer to handle things on your special day.
Yes – trying to make the right choice will often leave you slightly confused. There are so many so-called expert photographers out there, but you simply cannot afford to take a chance. Here are a few things you should consider when selecting an experienced photographer.
Personality: Although you might feel like it, avoid making a hasty decision. Take your time to select a photographer, and always pay attention to the overall personality of that individual. Remember, you (as a bride) will be spending the better part of an entire day with your photographer, which is why it’s essential to feel 100% certain you both get along.
Body of Work: Today, anyone can call themselves a pro. However, you should always select a photographer only after inspecting their work. Be ready to ask questions – ask them where they’ve travelled, how many events they’ve covered, etc. While looking at their work, try to determine if the photographer is able to shoot according to a style you’d like. Their work will also tell you about the type of photographer they are – they could be “computer heavy” stylized shooters, portrait specialists, documentary “journalistic” image-makers, or even fashion photographers. So, make sure your Europe wedding photographer has the images and portfolio to prove they have covered several wedding functions and won’t spoil your special day.
Cameras: it’s a good idea to ask a photographer about the number of cameras they own. They should at least cover your wedding party with two cameras, as there should be a backup plan in case a camera malfunctions during the wedding. More importantly, if you’re dealing with a professional photographer, the chances are when asked about their kit, they’ll talk your ears off about the greatest and latest piece of photographic equipment.
Commitment: Make sure you only select one photographer who is full-time and is committed to capturing high quality images. The way they present themselves will tell you a lot about their passion and professionalism. If a photographer wakes up everyday thinking about pictures, the chances are that he will go the distance to capture every moment in the best way possible.

Locations for wedding photography in Venice part 2
Last week we wrote about San Marco square in Venice as one of " must have location " for wedding images, now we will show some of other great locations for wedding shooting.
You can take a walk to Campiello Morosini ,it is near Music academy building.
Nearby is also square Campo Manin
Nearby Campo Manin square are two romantic and typical Venezian pontoone bridge.
Locations for wedding photography in Venice part 1
Last month we were honored to shoot gorgeous wedding of Matthew and Irina.
We would like to show you some of greatest locations to take wedding shoots.
Firstly, start with the most famous square in Venice, Italy, where it is generally known just as "the Piazza".
The problem of taking great images at San Marco square is crowds of tourists,
but also the buildings around the square are tall enough so it isn't difficult to avoid crowd entering in image frame.
As you are at San Marco you also must to visit most famous caffe bar in Venice - Caffe Florian. It was established in 1720, and is a contender for the title of the
oldest coffee house in continuous operation.
One of most beautiful building in Venice is Doge's palace next to basilica on San Marco square. This part of San Marco square is also known as Piazzetta.
The Piazzetta di San Marco is not part of the Piazza but an adjoining open space connecting the south side of the Piazza to the waterway of the lagoon.
The Piazzetta lies between the Doge's Palace on the east and Jacopo Sansovino's Libreria which holds the Biblioteca Marciana on the west.
As Venice is build on adriatic sea, there are lot of water canals. You can take a tour with gondola. The gondola is a traditional, flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat,
well suited to the conditions of the Venetian lagoon. For centuries gondolas were the chief means of transportation and most common watercraft within Venice.
If you don't like to take a ride withe gondola, you can always go by foot. The maze of canals threaded through the city requires the use
of more than 400 bridges to permit the flow of foot traffic. In 2011 the city opened Ponte della Costituzione, the fourth bridge across the Grand Canal,
connecting the Piazzale Roma bus terminal area with the Stazione Ferroviaria (train station),
the others being the original Ponte di Rialto, the Ponte dell'Accademia, and the Ponte degli Scalzi.
In next part we will show you some of greatest location to shoot wedding images, outside San Marco Piazza.
Cheers...
Paris wedding photo-shoot with Lidija and Denis
A couple of weeks ago we were delighted to be handed over the responsibility of covering Lidija and Denis’ wedding. Their celebration was held in the beautiful baroque city of Varaždin, Croatia. The day after their wedding day, they took off on their honeymoon headed to the most romantic city in the world – Paris. So did we – ready to create their photo-story in Paris.
Understandably, Paris is also one of most popular wedding destinations due to its romantic and artistic soul and inexhaustible source of inspiration. Below you can enjoy some of the images during their Parisian adventure. In a few weeks you we’ll be able to see their complete wedding album.

Wedding photo shooting in New York
As promised, following a successful pre-wedding shoot in New York City, we'd like to share with you some of the highlights of how the session unfolded on our timeline of NYC. With such an icon city overflowing with recognizable images, what better way to kick-off the session than by capturing Times Square. Energy levels were high, feeling excited and this was the perfect way to begin capturing such a creative and expressive place.
Our next port of call took us to the Lincoln Memorial Center with gorgeous lines, striking compositions and fantastic reflections.
Over to the one of the most famous set of steps in the world. Ladies, you know these steps better than you think! Yes, that's right – the steps featured in New York Sex and City! Our bride suddenly for a moment became Carrie Bradshaw, but she'd already been proposed by her Mr. Big. As we all felt it was time for a snack, we made our way to another familiar spot we all know and love - The Magnolia bakery!
There's just something magical about the Manhattan Bridge. Towering over the Hudson River connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan, this became the backdrop to our next set of shots. If there's a movie scene form NYC that conjures up familiar images "Once upon a time in America» would be up there in the forefront!
As the electric city began to shine at night, we moved onto the spot just beneath the Brooklyn Bridge which manages to illustrate the city lights in this radiant panoramic shot. Getting around in the city gives you 3 options – catch a bus, grab a taxi or jump on the subway which is what we did most of the time. Sharp leading lines captured at Canal street station lead us towards the final spot concluding a day full of adventure and energy making it full circle back to Times Square. The place we shot our first image to take our last.
